Beta Test Checklist

Run this after setup. The goal is simple: prove TickerOps can go from launch to a correctly routed ticker in under 10 minutes, then send a clear support report if anything misses.

Step 01

Before Testing

  • Open TickerOps as administrator.
  • Confirm Help shows an active beta license.
  • Confirm Help shows OCR ready.
  • Confirm the TickerOps Connector is installed in Chrome if testing supported scanner or website clicks.
  • Open Thinkorswim, Webull, Robinhood, or the broker targets you want to test.
  • Open the scanner, website, chat, or broker page you want to click from.
Step 02

Core Pass

  1. Open TickerOps and confirm it starts stopped.
  2. Open Routes and confirm only the brokers you want are enabled.
  3. Open Ops and enable Scanner, Static, and/or Chat.
  4. Click Arm Routing.
  5. Confirm the button changes to Refresh and Stack Status shows live/healthy.
  6. Click one scanner ticker and confirm the enabled broker chart changes.
  7. Click one approved website ticker with Static on and confirm the enabled broker chart changes.
  8. Click Kill Routing.
  9. Confirm Stack Status shows stopped and clicks no longer route.
Broker targets

Broker Checks

Thinkorswim

Click a scanner ticker and confirm Thinkorswim changes to the exact ticker without double typing.

Webull

Confirm Webull changes the chart ticker target, not the top search bar, and does not route when unchecked.

Robinhood

Confirm Robinhood Legend changes the chart target, closes the search box, and does not route when unchecked.

Scanner accuracy

Scanner Checks

  • Moving Now top row routes correctly.
  • Top 20 Gainers routes correctly.
  • Most Recent High routes correctly.
  • Search News routes correctly.
  • Tickers with icons route as the ticker only.
  • Tickers with NEW tags route as the ticker only.
  • Two-letter and leveraged symbols route correctly when the Connector is active.
Static websites

Website Static Checks

  1. Open Connectors.
  2. Confirm the website you want is enabled.
  3. Click a ticker on that website.
  4. Confirm the click routes within roughly one second.
  5. Confirm changing connector settings does not require a full app restart.
Support loop

What To Report

Open Diagnostics, add a short note, and send a support report if any of these happen:

  • Wrong ticker routed.
  • Ticker double typed.
  • Click is detected but no broker changes.
  • Wrong broker changes.
  • Webull uses the top search bar instead of the chart target.
  • Robinhood opens the search box but does not submit.
  • App says running after Kill Routing.
  • Connector says active but scanner or website clicks are missed.

In the note, include what you clicked, what should have routed, what actually routed, enabled brokers, monitor scale/zoom if known, and whether the Connector was active.

Done means done

Pass Criteria

  • Scanner clicks route accurately.
  • Enabled broker choices are respected.
  • Kill Routing stops helper services.
  • Support reports upload.
  • The tester understands broker targets and capture zones.
