Risk Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
TickerOps is a productivity tool designed to help users route user-selected stock ticker symbols into configured charting or brokerage windows. TickerOps is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser, trading platform, exchange, market data provider, or order execution service. Nothing provided by TickerOps is financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, or professional advice.
Use TickerOps entirely at your own risk.
Test Before Use
You are solely responsible for testing, configuring, monitoring, and verifying TickerOps before using it in or near any live trading environment. Before using TickerOps with any brokerage, charting platform, scanner, watchlist, chat, website, OCR source, automation workflow, or trading setup, you should test it carefully in a safe environment, including paper trading, simulated accounts, demo accounts, disconnected broker windows, or other non-live conditions.
Malfunctions and Misreads
TickerOps may malfunction, misread symbols, detect the wrong ticker, route a ticker to the wrong window, interact unexpectedly with third-party software, fail to route a ticker, route stale or incorrect information, interfere with your workflow, or behave differently depending on your screen layout, monitor setup, broker platform, operating system, permissions, updates, latency, OCR behavior, user input, or third-party application changes.
No Trade Placement or Risk Management
TickerOps is not intended to place trades, submit orders, recommend trades, confirm trades, manage risk, monitor positions, or prevent trading mistakes. However, because TickerOps may interact with broker or charting software on your computer, you acknowledge that unintended actions may occur, including accidental clicks, keystrokes, symbol changes, order-ticket interactions, trade-window interactions, or other unintended effects. You are solely responsible for ensuring that no unintended trades, orders, cancellations, modifications, or account actions occur.
You are solely responsible for all trading decisions, account activity, broker settings, order review, order submission, order cancellation, and risk management. Always confirm ticker symbols, order details, account selections, quantities, prices, and trade confirmations directly inside your brokerage platform before taking any trading action.
No Liability for Losses
You agree that TickerOps, its owners, developers, affiliates, contractors, contributors, and representatives are not responsible or liable for any losses, damages, claims, costs, missed opportunities, trading losses, account losses, erroneous orders, accidental trades, software conflicts, data errors, platform errors, lost profits, business interruption, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of TickerOps, whether caused by software error, user error, third-party software, broker platform behavior, market conditions, technical failure, or any other cause.
No Warranties
TickerOps is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, uptime, or error-free operation.
